Congleton Unplugged – Visyon

Thanks for a great performance guys. My friends and I really enjoyed it. The variety of styles/genres of songs was very successful creating a superb entertainment factor.

Forget-Me-Not Club

Thank you and the group for your fabulous performance on Valentine’s Day. Everyone enjoyed themselves and loved your choice of songs. Hopefully you all enjoyed it as well and we will be able to ask you back?

Green Gables Nursing Home

A huge thank you to you all for performing to the residents of Green Gables. It was thoroughly enjoyed by all. If was at all possible it would be lovely if you could visit again. Let me know if this would be possible, especially in the lead up to Christmas. Thank you all again.

Jubilee Club

Club Organiser

We would like to extend our thanks for you visit to us on Tuesday to the Jubilee Club Summer Social.  I have had a great number of conversations in the past few days with people who said they enjoyed it so much.  It was very evident that all of you were enjoying yourselves and this carries through in the music you play and it was an enjoyable and really positive time…….

At least one of our group is interested in learning to play a ukulele now too!

70th Birthday Party – Tuesday 18th June 2019

Thank you so much to the Beartown Ukes  for playing at my 70th birthday party on Tuesday evening. You put together a super programme which everyone really enjoyed, especially my grandchildren! I’ve had lots of complimentary remarks from friends who were there, and I think there are now some converts to ukulele music.

And from a guest: You were all brilliant last night!

Golden Memories Group – Tuesday 11th June 2019

Club Organiser:

What a joy it was to have your band come and play for us last Tuesday at our Golden Memories group. They all loved it and their feet were tapping and their hands were moving around and there were smiles on their faces. What a wonderful time you provided for us all……. well done to you and your lovely group of Ukulele players… you were terrific.

I hope you will be able to come and play for us at another time, we don’t want ‘ to hog ‘ you but you would certainly be welcomed back again to play for us.

Many many thanks to all your band members.

Congleton Unplugged – Friday 1st March 2019

“On Friday, myself and a couple of friends went to see the U3a Beartown Ukes at Visyon – near the Congleton paddling pool. This event seemed to be the start of the ‘unplugged’ weekend in Congleton.

The venue was a little small and ‘cosy’ for the amount of people who supported them but we had a brilliant night. The playing and singing was lively, varied and excellent and if you do get the opportunity to go and see them perform, go along – you are in for a treat.”

“Great entertainment once again.”

“Could’ve stayed there all evening.”

Brighter Times – Friday 15th February 2019

“Just wanted to thank you for your lovely morning of music. You just hit the right tone and we all appreciated it.”

“Please thank everyone for giving up their morning and we hope to see you again.”

“As organisers of today’s Christmas Fayre, we would like to thank members of the Ukulele group for their excellent input into this morning’s event. Their foot tapping music really helped the morning go well. Thank you again.”

“I just wanted to thank you and all the ukulele players for giving everyone at the Christmas Market such an enjoyable time.  Without you creating such a wonderful atmosphere, the morning wouldn’t have been half as enjoyable. You did a great job. Many thanks.” (Stall holder)
